| The Harding Medical
Mobility Cup -- a regatta for people with physical
disabilities -- sailed into Halifax, Nova Scotia at Dartmouth
Yacht Club, August 27-31, 2007. This was the first
time in its 20-year history that the Mobility Cup has been
held in Atlantic Canada.
Forty competitors from
across Canada, United States, England and New Zealand raced Martin 16 sailboats for four days in two fleets: Silver
for inexperienced sailors and Gold for experienced sailors.
The Martin 16 is a fully accessible sailboat, specially
designed for disabled sailors.
