A Message From the Commodore

On behalf of Disabled Sail Manitoba I welcome you to Discover Boating Mobility Cup 2004, Canada?s International Regatta for Sailors with a Disability. Sailors, companions, family and friends will leave Pelican Lake with memories lasting a lifetime: new friends, new experiences, and new skills.

Our partnership with Pelican Yacht Club will provide participants with a first class regatta, and Manitobans with an accessible place to enjoy the pleasures of sailing. As participants, you will also have the opportunity to experience a Manitoba treasure?Pelican Lake and the community of Ninette, Manitoba.

DSM is managed by people with disabilities, and wonderful volunteers in synch with the needs and desires of our participants. Whatever the nature of our disability we have the unique opportunity to enjoy the excitement and therapeutic benefits of independent sailing. As a participant in Discover Boating Mobility Cup 2004 you become a part of our dynamic organization.
