A Message From the Commodore

On behalf of the Pelican Yacht Club I would like to extend a warm welcome to all sailors, along with their families and friends, who will be participating in the 2004 edition of the Mobility Cup.

Our club, which celebrates over 30 years in 2004, operates in south-western Manitoba, providing families with a first class sailing facility.

The Pelican Yacht Club is proud of its volunteer-led achievements over the past 30 years, especially with our hosting of the Canada Summer Games in 1997. The recent major improvements of our sailing facilities for our new Disabled Sail program will provide participants with an enjoyable and accessible venue for this international sailing event.

Doud TreloarBecause we are situated in the middle of Canada, visitors will have a wide range of sites to visit as well as numerous activities to enjoy while attending the event.

The Pelican Yacht Club looks forward to greeting you and wishes all participants fair winds in the competition for the Discover Boating Mobility Cup 2004.

Doug Treloar
