Discover Boating Mobility Cup 2004 is very pleased to welcome Discover Boating aboard as our Title Sponsor. Discover Boating is a programme designed to introduce boating to the millions of Canadians who have never experienced the boating lifestyle. While the primary target market of Discover Boating are families with young children, Discover Boating endeavours not to overlook those singles and "empty nesters" who have leisure time available and who are looking for a new, relaxing, fulfilling and affordable outdoor activity to participate in that will include family and friends. We believe that boating meets those needs very well. As a result, we are very pleased to encourage boating activities by sailors with disabilities. The freedom afforded by Able Sailing has a very liberating effect on people in this community and we are glad to play our part in making this happen.

Discover Boating is a programme designed to reach out to non-boaters and introduce them to our recreational lifestyle. The introduction to boating is being carried out by Discover Boating Centres - boat dealers, marinas, yachts clubs and sailing schools across Canada. These local clubs and business are holding events through out the spring, summer and fall designed specifically to welcome non-boaters and to show them how they can participate in boating.
