Pelican Yacht Club

Welcome to beautiful Pelican Lake, home of the Pelican Yacht Club. Located in the heart of southwestern Manitoba. We are the region's sailing and recreational boating centre.

Pelican Yacht ClubOver 100 members make the Pelican Yacht Club their home port. Whether you are a recreational sailor, or are a competitive sailor, Pelican Yacht Club welcomes you. Our growing powerboat fleet has a great starting point from our Marina with excellent launching fascilities for any size of boat.

Host of the 1997 Canada games, our proud club boasts excellent water and shore facilities. Our Marina offers mooring opportunities for the season as well as excellent day and weekend use. Our Clubhouse, which was reconditioned for the 97 Games, offers a great view of the Marina and Lake and is available for Club member functions and friends of the Yacht Club.

Our Club schedule for 2004 will include numerous social events, training and learn-to-sail programs. As well, regular Club races and of course our Annual Open Regatta. We also play host to other groups and organizations such as the Sea Cadets and M.S.A. Sailing Clinics.

Pelican Yacht ClubPelican Yacht Club will be offering adult learn-to-sail programs throughout the summer as well as youth learn-to-sail programs which will be held the last weekend in July. If you've never sailed or boated before, give us a call, we would be happy to have a member share their experiences and know-how with you.

All sailors experienced or inexperienced are encouraged to visit, sail, cruise and race with us.
